Yoko Geri Kekomi Shotokan's Side Thrust Kick

A powerful kick that was made famous by Bruce Lee, he used to call side thrust kick, 'the stop kick'. In the film, Enter The Dragon, there is an excellent example of Bruce Lee combining the thrust kick with his 'Bruce Lee Burst', he could cover 8 feet in three quarters of a second! The famous kick is delivered during the fight with O'hara (Bob Wall), if you get a chance, check it out. Yoko Geri Kekomi the best powerfull kick
and it's basic kihon in karate, Yoko Geri its apply in many katas in shotokan ,
to do it well you have to strech your legs extremly well. so it depend on your leg and hip muscles and on the balance of your body. so your waist must be very soft and easy moving.
and trust your power, and make your foot as aknife.
keep your back straightly and and reflex with straight that help in balance.
do it many time you will like it....
